Kariranga National Park- This world heritage site is one of India’s premier wildlife reserves. This biodiversity hotspot flourishes with flora and fauna. Kaziranga is one of the only places to spot the endangered one-horned rhino. It has the highest density of tigers in the world. A massive elephant population along with water buffalo, pythons, monitor lizards and even the great Indian bison, Kaziranga can fulfil all your wildlife needs.
Tocklai Tea Research Centre- Take a tour of the world’s oldest and largest tea research centre.
Dekhiakhowa Bornamghar- Tour the place of worship established by the renowned saint, Guru Madhavdeva. He lit a lamp in 1461 which still burns to this day, being regularly refuelled by the current priests.
Majuli- Situated in the mighty Brahmaputra, 20 km from Jorhat City, Majuli stands the largest freshwater river island in the world. It is environment friendly and the water is pollution free which make it ideal bird watching.
