THINGS TO DO

Mehrangarh Fort- Mehrangarh Fort, built in 1460,is one of India’s largest forts standing solitary and splendid perched on a cliff 400 feet high. Within it lie several palaces famous for their ornate carvings and vast courtyards. The museum exhibit includes various artifacts from the heritage of the Rathore dynasty.

Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum- Umaid Bhawan may be a lavish 5 star hotel set on 26 acres of land, but its museum is the true hero here. It boasts an impressive collection of antique artifacts. The vivid murals on the walls of the Durbar Hall, miniature painting, armour and stunning architecture are a must see.

Osiyan Temple- These famous Brahmanical and Jain temples, dating back to the 8th century, reside in the town of Osian and are visited by religious Jains all over the world. The temple is composed of 18 shrines  of which the Sachiya Mata temple is the most graceful.
