THINGS TO DO

Bandipur National Park-Originally the hunting grounds to the Mysore royalty, Bandipur is now a tiger reserve that harbours a number of India’s protected species. The 14th-century Himavad Gopalaswamy Temple offers birds- eye views from the highest point in the national park.

Nagarhole National Park- Adjoining and similar to Bandipur National Park.

Mysore Palace- With over 7 million visitors a year, the Mysore Palace is the most visited monument i  India, after the Taj Mahal. Once built from wood, the palace burnt in 1897 and was rebuilt in 1912.
