Bandipur National Park-Originally the hunting grounds to the Mysore royalty, Bandipur is now a tiger reserve that harbours a number of India’s protected species. The 14th-century Himavad Gopalaswamy Temple offers birds- eye views from the highest point in the national park.
Edakkal Caves- Want to see how our ancestors lived? Edakkal Caves is considered one of the earliest centres of human society beginning 7000 yrs ago. The carvings belonging to the Neolithic and Mesolithic ages depict ancient weapons, animals and humans.
Tholpetty Wildlife Park- Very few places in India can boast the natural splendour of the Wayanad District and the same goes for the Tholpetty Wildlife Park, which lies with its borders. The endless greenery of tropical rainforests provide ample cover for its wildlife.
