THINGS TO DO
Nagaon Beach- This calm and serene beach is blessed with clear sands and clean waters. A large variety of activities such as camelback/ horseback riding, parasailing and other water sports are available. The fresh local seafood and the breathtaking view of this place make it a must-visit.
Kanakeshwar Forest- There is a pathway of 700 steps that leads to the top. Apart from the scenic view you can also visit the old temple of Lord Shiva. It is widely believed that God himself stepped on the step “Devachi Payari” after it was built.
Kolaba Fort- This old military fortification is roughly 35 km south of Mumbai and is a protected monument. Maratha king, Shivaji, strengthened this fort to make it one of his chief naval stations. It was later used to launch raids on British ships.
